Mental Health Week is every week.

I know one thing from iso… Isolation is not my friend. 9 weeks & counting.

We’re not on good terms. It’s been turbulent. At first, it seemed to be a good fit but now, they aren’t picking up after themselves, giving me vague suggestions to stay alert and keeping me in a box I call my bedroom. I want my space and even with a little glimmer of some all day exercise, I’m still left with my mind.

I think I can say it for all, we’re over it. Emotionally it has been very taxing for all. Speaking from personal experience, my mental health has plummeted. I feel great one minute and super depressed the next. It has been a rollercoaster and one I’d like to hop off and grab a soda, popcorn and chill out for a bit.

I’ve suffered from anxiety and depression for most of my adult life and these last 2 months have been a real test. Iso, you have put our friendship on the line, and frankly I’m ready to take a break.

This week I’m surrounded by lots of social posts celebrating Mental Health Week. I love being reminded about the positive vibes that are out there but also want to remind everyone, mental health is every minute, every day and every month. The waves are continuous and sometimes a little scary.

With the help from friends, the community and my own research, I’ve compiled a list of resources that might help you or someone you know, who is looking to take a small step in feeling a bit more at ease.

Some might jump out at you and some might not be your thing. From one thing I’ve learnt, you really want it to be a quick fix but it is about trial and error.
